Romans 8:2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
A good analogy to the relationship between the law of the Spirit of life and the law of sin and death is the relationship between the law of gravity and the law of lift.
The law of gravity and the law of lift are two countervailing principles. Each of them works all the time, every time, just like the law of sin and death and the law of the Spirit of life!
Did you know that the law of gravity cannot be overcome by sheer will power? And neither can the law of sin and death! (To be cont’d).
