As you begin to pray more in other tongues, you will see a greater manifestation of God’s power in every sphere and dimension of life!
Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin said that if you don’t spend quality time praying in tongues, although you’re baptized in the Holy Ghost, “the ministry of the Holy Ghost in your life won’t differ much from what it was before you were filled with the Spirit.” K. Hagin, Tongues: Beyond the Upper Room, (Tulsa OK: Faith Library Publications, 2007) p. 130.
He also said that although God endeavors to lead every born Christian, “for those who are filled with the Holy Ghost and pray with other tongues, the Holy Spirit’s guidance is available in a far greater measure.” And then he went on to add, “However, I have found that this extra measure of the Holy Spirit operates in my life only if I follow the practice of continually praying daily in tongues.” Tongues: Beyond the Upper Room, p. 130.
Praying in tongues activates the power of God that came upon you when you were baptized in the Holy Spirit. If you allow the gift of tongues to lie dormant in your life, then the power of God that is upon you will likewise lie dormant.
