The Earth Brings Forth Fruit All By Itself, Pt 2

By jpmsingapore

Mark 4:28.For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

In James 1:26, we are told that if we do not bridle our tongue, we deceive our own heart. You deceive your heart because it will bring forth the unintended harvest of the negative seeds that you have planted!

But if instead you plant the seed of God’s word by hearing it and hearing it until it registers on your spirit, and continue to water that seed by meditating on it continually, in due season you will reap, if you faint not.

If you want to change something in your own life, or in the lives of your loved ones, start planting some seed by speaking words that agree with God’s word and by talking to yourself and to God about His word concerning that person or situation continually.

Your harvest will come in stages. Don’t be content with a partial victory. Continue watering the seed until you reap the full harvest!
