Heb 4:3, 9-11. For we which have believed do enter into rest…There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
When it comes to having faith and reaping a harvest, sometimes people ask, “How long will this take? How long do I need to keep hearing the Word?” My answer is, “Until you hear it!”
Going back to our personal testimony, when Mary and I were believing God to have children, I have to say that I do not recall time ever being a factor for us. I don’t recall ever fretting or fussing about how long it was taking. Time was not an issue, because when you believe, you enter into rest. (Heb 4:3). That’s one way to know that you are in faith, because when you’re truly in faith, you are truly at rest.
When you are in faith, you don’t really care how long it takes, because you’ve already “got it”! In your spirit, you know you have it. As long as you’re worrying about when the manifestation will come, you are still laboring to enter into rest.Â
How long will you need to hear the Word? Until you are wiser than your enemies; until you have more understanding than your teachers; until His Words are sweeter than honey to your mouth; until you overcome; until your eyes are opened and you begin to behold wondrous things out of His Word; until His testimonies become your delight and begin to counsel you; until your healing manifests; until the finances materialize; until your circumstances change; until wisdom is yours; until revelation comes; until you know that you know that victory is yours!
