One of my favorite testimonies of all time is about a woman born with a deformed foot who was healed simply by listening to Kenneth Hagin’s sermons on faith and healing.
This was many years ago, and because of the deformity, she was unable to work. Since she couldn’t work, she took the time to listen to Bro Hagin’s tapes over and over. She began to plant the seed of God’s Word in her heart by hearing it and hearing it until it registered on her spirit.
She said that when she first began listening to those messages, the word that Kenneth Hagin was preaching didn’t mean a thing to her. It seemed so dry and lifeless! That’s because seeds are deceptive in their appearance—when you plant them they look small and insignificant.
Nevertheless, she kept listening. She continued to hear those tapes over and over, day after day, week after week, for several weeks, and for a long time, it seemed like nothing was happening!
Then finally, after about three months of continuously listening to the word of God, something began to happen! (Cont’d).
